accept students from all over the world, ICIS accepts supervisors from
countries of the student’s residence. Such a supervisor should have a PhD
degree from reputable institution, have enough knowledge and ability to conduct
research in the selected subject, or be a Mojtahid (Jurist) teaching in the
seminaries. In some cases, it is essential to appoint two
supervisors for the subject covered, one to cover the methodology aspects and
the other one for the subject speciality. Supervisors are appointed
by ICIS. Students can nominate their preferred supervisors but the final
appointment will be done by ICIS only. In case, a supervisor fails
to continue his work, ICIS will appoint a replacement.
